Decide your story

Unending peace and limitless love,

Infinite mercy and grace,

Access to He who has no one above,

No discrimination of tribe, family or race,

Giver of slumber and rest,

Comfort in times of distress,

One who wishes for you only the best,

And isn’t there to impress,

All this there for the taking,

Yet you decide not to have it,

I ask why?

Why book a spot in the world of despair?

Why put your trust on mortal man?

Why live a life without care?

Why not choose one who has a plan?

Why shy off from glory?

For you think things will just merrily flow,

Although the Lord is writing your story,

You decide how it will go.
